Great service, great food, good prices, and portions that make for leftovers. The American fries are awesome. We've had breakfasts and lunches here and have never been disappointed with anything we've ordered, and I think at one time or another we've ordered it all

Impossible to leave here hungry. The breakfast specials are always interesting and usually clever enough to peak your interest. Can't say I've ever left here disappointed. The gals working add the personal touch that keeps you coming back.

Walking in to the Peppermill, you are greeted by a dated, "grandma's house" type of decor, which is somehow comforting, despite the rips in some of the booth cushions nearby. The breakfast menu is appealing to all. I was drawn to the omelettes and the "skillys". I picked a skillet and hazelnut coffee. The skillet came out and was A very generous size. It was so good I could have eaten it all in one sitting!! My self control kicked in, so I got a box to-go. The breakfast food here is unbelievable. So yummy. Tastes like your grandma's homemade. The atmosphere and food totally connect and make sense, leaving you feeling comfy, happy, and full-filled ;)

I almost feel stupid doing a review of this place because if you like breakfast in Rockford or Walker / Standale you have been here...and LOVE IT! But in case there is somebody dying for a great hearty, not fancy breakfast that hasn't been here...I will do a review. GREAT diner style breakfast place. Only thing people can find to complain about that they have to wait...IF they show up prime time or IF they show up with 14 people or worst case, show up at Prime TIme with 14 people LOL. Bottom line: Food...Well executed diner food. Nothing fancy, just consistently really good. Portions...Large to Huge. Especially the Omelets. Price...Reasonable almost to the point of being cheap. If you order all kinds of ala cart stuff it can add up but most of their breakfast dishes are under $8 and they always have some specials on the board that are usually a deal. Atmosphere....none. A diner without the chrome. Basically a large room. But who cares. I am there for breakfast not to marvel at the décor. Omelets....HUGE....like two people can share one and be full huge or one person has breakfast for tomorrow huge. They only do breakfast & lunch. They WILL be busy so don't show up after church on Sunday with 14 people and act all indignant because they can't whisk you right to a giant table they have been secretly saving just in case you showed up..... There will be people waiting to get seated for parties of two and four so get over it. That is the sign of a good restaurant. If you walk into a breakfast place after church and the place is empty....hint hint...it isn't very good. The ONLY thing people complain about is having to wait???? Guess what...there is a reason for that...IT'S POPULAR....DUH!

The peppermill grill is a nice family style diner in the heart of Standale. If you want a cheap breakfast with high quality, this is the place to go. I got an omelette and you get a good amount of food. The sides were cooked well and the waitress was attentive to keep my water full.

I've been here a few times now, and there is always a bit of a wait, but where isn't there for breakfast in GR if the food is halfway decent? It was only about 15 minutes for a table of three. I ordered a skillet with wheat toast, my man got the same with bacon on the side and rye toast. I don't recall the name of the skillet, but it had and egg, spinach, tomatoes, green peppers, onions, mushrooms, and cheese. Our friend ordered the biscuits and gravy, bacon, and tater tots. The food came out quickly and our waitress was very attentive for the whole meal. The skillet was good, and I loved all of the veggies, and the egg was perfectly cooked, but I with there hadn't been quite so many potatoes. It seemed like they took up 3/4 of the skillet. The bacon was nice and crispy, the rye toast actually tasted like delicious thick cut rye, and the biscuits, gravy, and tots that our friend ordered had him too busy to talk. This is solid place for some greasy spoon diner food.

Went here this past weekend. Good food, good prices, and not too long of a wait. Was nice to be here again!

Great place for good diner food! Lots of different, yet accessible omelet offerings. Try the Californian or Michigander! Their biscuits and gravy are homemade (always a good sign), and their Monte Cristo is a must try. We love to go here on weekends, and often there is a line out the door. However, the turnover is quick and the wait staff friendly, so it is worth the wait. One of my favorite things is that they almost always bring out my kiddos' meals as soon as they are up, rather than waiting for the whole order to be up. They certainly know how to keep them happy.

I ate here on a Monday morning with my dad, and it wasn't terribly busy. The waitress was attentive and friendly, and the food came pretty quickly. I ordered an egg beater vegetarian scramble with English muffin toast and potatoes. My dad ordered some sort of omelet with a bunch of meat and rye toast. That rye toast was delicious! It was really thick and tasty. I stole a couple of pieces, I confess. The food was good and it was plentiful enough that I saved half for the next day's breakfast. Don't sit at the first table, across from the door. We got an arctic blast every time someone came in or left. Lesson learned, us. We'll go back for sure!

I pass this place all the time going to the mall in Grandville from Grand Haven. By the looks of the outside I would never think to stop, but this place is amazing! I had the Monte Cristo and it was so filling and delicious! This place will definitely be a repeat breakfast place for me!! Next time I'm getting the pancakes, they boost their the size of hub caps!!

Hands down the best , consistently the best, breakfast place around! We've been going here for years. Never disappointed! And the prices are very reasonable as well! A must try if you haven't been.

Hands down, my favorite place in the area for breakfast! Great food, good service, and sometimes you can even find coupons! They do get crowded on weekend mornings (the only time I've gone), but the wait usually isn't too long. My recommendation: Try the sausage gravy and biscuits! Soo tasty (and I'm pretty picky about sausage gravy and biscuits)!

This place used to be the definition of a "greasy spoon", but then it came under new ownership, and they completely changed the place for the better. My wife and I love to eat breakfast here, and enjoy their plentiful options and friendly service. The decor of the establishment is quite pleasing to the eye as well. The only problem is that it gets full very quickly (especially on weekends), so you might have a bit of a wait. But I've only been there for breakfast, so I'm not sure about other times.

I ordered right off the menu, the cheese and sausage omelet , it came out pretty quick but the omelet had only about 4 small pinches of cheese on the entire omelet. considering this was a direct menu item "cheese and sausage" omelet I feel that it was either a big mistake or false advertising. The waitress was too busy visiting a friend at another table for me to even "bother" her about it, I just ate it, paid and went to work.
